Xtra-Link signs a sponsorship agreement with the Dubai - Muscat race and will fit all participating sailing yachts with a Globaltrack tracking unit.

Xtra-Link recently opened in office in Venezuela to cover the South American continent. It is the first company to offer the Thrane Explorer 500 and Explorer 700 in Venezuela. The company also offers tracking services by Globaltrack, both satellite and gsm. The office is located in Puerto Ordaz, close to the Orinoco river.
